Sakkara Is a Stunningly beautiful Straight Egyptian mare

This mare is seriously beautiful and has so much potential to produce outrageously beautiful foals. The only reason that she is offered for sale is that she is too closely related to our Straight Egyptian Stallion HT Karachi.

Sold to Mr. & Mrs Toporis in Jersey and we wish them every success and happiness with her.

HT Farida
Mare ( 31 st May 2001 )
Thee Advocate (CA) x G Farhana

‘Farida’ Is a lovely dark Steel Grey Mare who just wants to do the best she can for anyone, she is ready to be broken in and will make a lovely dedicated and faithful endurance horse.

The Sire of HT Farida was a Black Stallion and her Dam being our very fine G Farhana. We would hazard a guess that if Farida was put to a black Stallion she would be capable of giving foal to a beautiful Black foal but more importantly we believe that because she is such a great mover and is such a friend, we would say that she is an Ideal horse for Endurance and Eventing

The Next Generation

Year after year we look at our mares and try to decide which Stallion to breed them to, hoping that the following years, foals are just as beautiful as we had wished for. Now that we have our own two magnificent Stallions, it does not mean we have restricted our breeding program. Each year we look at how the Worlds best stallions have performed and will venture out to buy an AI breeding from whichever Stallion we feel, will compliment and better our foundation horses, in the future years. For the past two years we have used Sanadik El Shaklan. He is just a super horse, and we have been more than happy with the foals. In many ways this is the fun part of breeding such high class Arabian Horses. The hard work and sleepless nights, come later

This year foal, 'Thee Distraction' had to be bucket fed, until her mother could feed her herself. Every two hours, day and night, we mixed milk and walked to the stable to feed her. She was still with her mother and both seemed very happy about this arrangement. We have been very pleased at the way this foal has developed, if not a little surprised at the rate she was growing. Yesterday we found out why! This little angel was not only taking milk from our bucket, but also she was feeding from her mother, after all? I guess that is one of the wonders of our foals, we are always learning from them!

Sanadu
Colt
(Sanadik El Shaklan X Arabella Bint Ilamelle)
Born 1 April 2004

We Purchased two Sanadik El Shaklan breedings from OM EL International to be used two of our finest mares. The first to come along was "Espana" who was born in 2003. A beautiful big Filly! So intelligent! And so willing to do anything we ask of her. She will be 1 year old on the 5th June, when she will then go into training for Halter showing. For the second of the breedings, we inseminated our very beautiful mare called Arabella Bint Ilamelle . We had taken a bet between our selves that the mare was carrying a filly. It was a huge surprise when we first checked over this fine foal to discover we had a Colt! We couldn't have wished for a better two foals from our two AI breedings from a great Stallion. "Sanadu" will be following his sister showing before moving into our Stallion Yard, joining the Already impressive Stallions of Northern Lights Arabians.

It seems to our eyes that every year's crop of foals, are better than the previous year's, but in reality they have all been just spectacular, and breath taking as each other. We could never become tired of the sight of a newly born foal, it is such a gift to be with a mare when she, find her chosen spot to lie down and starts that wonderful process of delivering her new baby. No matter how many days and nights we have stayed up, it all is worth it, just to greet, those newly born foals, as they enter into this World.

Each year we choose one or two foals to keep on for showing and to build up foundation stock. We still are interested in buying in more mares who have similar pedigrees, but, at this stage in our evolution, we are more interested in bringing on our own very special fillies, to ensure that the breeding that we have chosen continues in purity. We are very passionate about all the Sire names like Nazeer, El Shaklan, Morafic, Shaikh Al Badi, TheEgyptianPrince and Camargue. Names that must be preserved forever!

On the dams side there is only one mare that really sends that shiver down our spines, and that is 'Estopa' There will never be another Estopa, but she lives on, with us in the faces of our foals each year.

We always give plenty of time for our Colts to grow on, giving them plenty of time to develop before we make a decision to geld them. We believe that it is important to ensure the best 'gene pool' is promoted by only keeping the premier colts entire.

Each year we have a limited amount of stock for sale. Visitors and enquiries are welcome, though we would ask you to phone first. "We Love Talking Arabian Horses"
